equal opportunity employer and as someone who is disabled and otherwise qualified to work as a security officer and has their BST one and two limited that sounds like something very hopeful!! Yet here in Canada a lot of employers claim to be equal opportunity but what they really mean is we will hire women and men and pay the same.
Well that is a good thing but when a county like Concorde security that seems to hier anyone but those in a wheelchair and because they hire a select few people with out highly visible disabilities lay claim to being equal opportunity employer and same with

Securiguard
Securiguard is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.

the above line straight off their website almost a month ago I went into their offices for a interview I was told at the time they would have to wait until their head HR manager came back from vacation then the excuse was they had to get permission from security licensing to hire a disabled guard the excuse was from both these companies, but in fact security licensing says all they need is the address of the site and the duties you will be doing seemingly use this as an excuse not hire someone in a wheelchair and has their BST one and two limited [BST 12 limited means that you've passed the written portions of the basic security training course but were not allowed are unable to take the physical portion of BST 2]
when is the government going to step in and take the companies to task that claim to be equal opportunity employers and make them truly become equal opportunity employers were all are hired not just using it as advertising ploy to make themselves look good
